Summer Fashion Trends Biography
The 2nd Day of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014 (PSFW) commenced on Friday at the Expo Centre, Lahore, with a total of five fashion presentations featuring the likes of some of the industry’s big wigs, like Shehla Chatoor, Teena By Hina Butt, Deepak Parwani, Muse and Elan. Hats off to HSY production and his team for the fantastic choreography and Nabeela for an amazing Hair and make do.The 2nd show of Act 1 surprised the audience with amazing collection of Teena by Hina Butt. After Shehla Chatoor, the designer label Teena by Hina Butt Lawn 2014 Collection showcased Day 2 titled ‘Rukn-e-Alam: Pillars of the World’ at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014.
Hina butt took inspiration from Sufi mystic to design this collection. Day 4 at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014 held at Expo Center, Johar Town on 12th April. Elite fashionistas, fashion designers, trend setters, variety seekers and high end design fashion retailers participated to see the latest hottest spring collection. Renowned designers presented their latest Lawn/Spring Collection and showcased their magnificent creations in the event. Day-4 featured Voile shows in which Warda Prints Spring Collection 2014 exhibited. After Five Star Textile Industries’ presentation, Warda Prints made their PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week debut with a Spring/Summer 2014 collection titled ‘Glamorous Hattie’s’. Warda PFDC Collection 2014 available in electric shock colour palette with exotic prints in luxurious fabrics of silk and chiffons. Warda Spring Dresses inspired by the historical textile patterns, historical walls and floor tiles. The designs originated from the Middle Age, the Renaissance, later European and Islamic cultures.
To entertain the visitors, media, show biz personalities and fashionistas at Day-4 PSFW marked the return of Magnum with their Magnum Pleasure Spot. Title sponsors Sunsilk also extended their patronage as Red Carpet sponsors and hosted an exclusive Sunsilk ‘Guess the Bottle’ Lounge at PSFW. Official beverage partners Diet Pepsi hosted a media lounge whereas the logistic partner is Fed Ex – GSP Pakistan Gerry’s International, Abbas Carpets and special handling and travel partner PIA also partnered with the PFDC.
The makeup and styling done by the creative teams at Nabila’s and NGENTS whereas event is fantastically choreographed by HSY Events. As official media partner, Hum TV/Style360 played a tremendous role however CityFM89 presence showed as the official radio partners. All four day event management is handed brilliantly by none other than Lotus Client Management & Public Relations. Distinct blue, white pottery, eye catchy color palette, embroided patterns, embellishment techniques, patchwork, intricate cutwork, digital prints further enhanced by hand painted pottery of the region. Teena By Hina Butt PFDC collection channeled a modern look in a variety of fabrics such as grip, chiffon, raw silk and organza coupled with silhouettes that vary from voluminous gowns to straighter cuts with a focus on shorter lengths to tapered pants for a sleeker look.
